Northeast Overview: Cross-Model Climate Projections

This cross-model regional overview is part of a series and focuses on the Northeast: Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, and West Virginia.

We explore impacts through projected sea-level rise, hot-season increase, and deluge-type rain. Much of the Northeast has great cool summer preservation, which offsets some of the region's anticipated water-related challenges.  You'll see that, alongside significant infrastructure challenges, this region has enormous resilience potential.
